Hi there, sorry I went awol on you guys. I find it quite hard to keep up with my posts which is why I need your help!
I love love love blogging so much!!! I wish blogging was my primary job :), I really enjoy taking pictures, editing, writing and making it all come together. I keep learning new things and experience personal growth.
Initially I started my blog on Blogger but I wasn’t really feeling it there, so finally I exported the blog to Wordpress and yes, I should have done that way before! Within the first 2 weeks I reached 350 views which is more than I’ve ever reached on Blogger. I experience much better blog activity here and love the ‘Freshly Pressed’ page where you discover other great blogs.
There are so many blogs out there, everyone seems to have one next to a Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest etc account. So it’s difficult to stand out with your blog but I don’t let it get to me and try to always enjoy blogging. Thanks to all the great blogs out there I stumbled upon Kira’s blog Her New Leaf which helped me a lot to get my Blogger’s ‘Groove on’ :).
Kira gives great blogging tips but also I enjoy viewing her blog, the style and graphics and I’m thankful that she shares a lot of it so that we can all learn. It makes a huge difference that she’s a woman explaining it to us ;).
The lay out part of your blog can really be time consuming and you will probably never be a 100% satisfied because there are just so many cute options! So that alone took me a while but Kira’s blog was definitely a great help.
What I can’t seem to organize is regular blogging, so hereby I apologize should you be waiting for my posts to come online. I’m looking for tips and feedback about this matter. Has anyone encountered the same problem next to a full time job? I’d love to hear about it and really your feedback will be much appreciated!
Here are two photo moments that have everything to do with me starting this blog:
A few weeks later my friend Roxy gave me some tips on where to start over coffee at Starbucks. I still have the business cards we used to write on due to lack of paper!
Ok, so don’t forget to check out Her New Leaf for great tips!
